I had this idea while reading HBP for the first time. And, uh, the only time (it's long!). But I find the whole horcrux thing so very Zelda! Seriously! Collecting seven (or was it six? I have no idea how many / what they were... I should probably've researched that before drawing the pic, but ehwellwhatchagonnado. XD) artifacts to defeat the evil demon / wizardthing that has resurrected itself? Only at least Ganondorf / the ancient sages / whoever had the sense to scatter the triforce shards across the world for you to find, whereas Voldy seems incapable of moving his Horcruxes more than 5m away from Hogwarts... >_> *cough*

ANYWAY, Second Harry Potter fanart! (and the third I've ever drawn EVER. I'm really not a fanartist in real life. *le gasp* ) And whoa, Harry actually looks fairly decent? O_o which is more than I can say for Hermione, who kinda sorta looks like a man, but I never imagined her as being pretty in the books anyway. I mean, c'mon, she had buck teeth in the first coupla books. *sigh* And... Ron in a dress. Dress robes, anyway. Which reminds me, Goblet of Fire's coming out on DVD soon and I want it!!!

...*goes to bed* (I... REALLY shoulda been doing French / Japanese homeworks... but whatever! XD)

now that you mention it, it sounds awfully similar XD I love the humor you used here. Making it seem very serious at first and then bang! XD And the description is just as good. I loved the "whereas Voldy incapable of moving his Horcruxes more than 5m away from Hogwarts..." :rofl:

It's kind of sad, but anytime a character has to collect 3 or 7 of any artifact I immediately think of the Zelda games. Besides it'd be silly to try and collect anything in a larger or smaller quantity than 3 or 7 as they are special power numbers and apparently the only good odd numbers aside from the occasional lucky 13.

Yeah, the seventh one at this point will probably either be the best or the worst. ^^ Either way, though, I actually like that Rowling's breaking the mold she established. Anyways, I love it, I kinda had the same thought towards the end of the horcrux chapter too! And people only think Hermione's pretty because of Emma Watson. XD
