...This was originally going to be a journal (biggest journal ever, I know :B ) but I thought hey, I haven't submitted anything in like, fifty years, so why not, ey. :3

There've been a fair few rants about Fanart around here lately. Not that I particularly minded at first - there is a fairly retarded amount of KH / Naruto / Deathnote / Zelda etc etc fanart, which isn't so bad in itself, but when a lot of them are so similar, it gets irritating, tbh.

THAT SAID, this whole 'Original is ALWAYS better than Fanart' mantra people are throwing about nowadays is pretty insulting, tbh. Is it that hard to believe that some people put just as much effort into images of copyrighted characters as they do to their own OCs? Not to mention the fact that to be honest, a lot of the 'OC's on this site are similar enough that they might as well be official anime characters. I don't know, I just think people need to get off their high horses once in a while, y'know? I for one enjoy both original art and fanart, as long as the art itself is good. :/ But hey...

On a different note, the KAWAII TENCHI thing in part one was scarily fun to draw. O_o I also have a newfound respect for dodge-tool users - that thing is bloody hard to use! >_< *ruins pic*
