AAAGH. Seriously. How're we supposed to RELAX over the holidays if we get more work than we would at school???? I have a Russian literature essay, a Russian oral about opt-out organ donation to prepare, French coursework on the national health system, a re-write of the previous piece of badly-done French coursework, that Cinderella commission (not complaining - I need moneys! XD), two mock IT exams to revise for on the first week back, ARGH ARGH ARGH.
Still, not at school. XD I MUST complete Baten Kaitos over these two weeks, or I never will. I also have to draw that Tales of the Abyss pic I was thinking about, before I forget what Luke Fone Fabre looks like. And, uh, the million-and-one pics of him I have stored on my hard-drive spontaneously delete themselves. Or something. >_>
In happier news, check out the song, book and movie in the journal header! I actually read, watched a film and listened to music all in one week. Whoa. Eldest... isn't actually all that great. It's an okay book and all, though you do kinda wish the entire way through that Paolini used some kind of initiative, and didn't just rape Lord of the Rings for all it's worth. Tall, skinny, pretty, super-magical elves who live in seclusion, have long lifespans and few children? Check. Short, bearded dwarves, who forge weapons and live in tunnels, and hate elves? Check. Idiotic, smelly, teenaged hero who tends to do retarded things once every few minutes, smells, and eventually finds out who his real father was? Ch- ...ah, wait, that's Star Wars. Never mind. XD Still, it's not a bad book, even if the overly-archaic dialogue gets on your nerves after the first several seconds.
No Tomorrow rocks, but I'm sure everyone's heard it already. I'm always the last to know... (I need to listen to the radio more... but besides Galaxy 105 in the mornings, there's nowt decent!)
And lastly, go see The Inside Man. Tis good. Very good, in fact, even if it does contain the worst pair of cops EVER. No, really. Shouting 'DID YOU DO IT???' at someone isn't exactly a great way of solving a crime (...okay, they never actually did that. But they might as well have). The ending is fairly abrupt, though. >_>
